Very simply! Take a flight to Moscow and then go either by plane or by train to Irkutsk. If you choose plane, you will need to change airport in Moscow. Arriving at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo-2 International airport you will need to move to another air terminal of Sheremetyevo-1 located from the other side of runways, 15-20 min. drive, to take your flight to Irkutsk. If you arrive at Domodedovo Airport, you won’t need to change air terminal since domestic flights also run from this very airport.
Anyway, please make sure that you have minimum 3-4 hours between your arrival in Moscow and leave for Irkutsk when purchasing tickets.
Those who are tempted by famous Trans-Siberian Railway can take a train from Moscow to Irkutsk and contemplate Russia’s winter landscapes. In this case consider 3 days and a half for this journey. The most comfortable trains are #2 and #10 leaving Moscow in the evening and spending about 78 hours to reach Irkutsk.
